Once I left school there was no doubt in my mind of what I wanted to do at college, so I enrolled myself on the Beauty Therapy course at Highbury where I spent 2 years completing my NVQ level 2 and 3 in Beauty Therapy.

I went on to a small salon on Hayling Island for a year but quickly realised I needed to be in a busier bigger salon so went about securing myself a job at Nirvana in Fareham. I was there for 3 years where I learnt so much but decided to move to Spain for 6 months where I had the time of my life!  But missed my job, family and friends back home.

When I returned, I went back to Nirvana in Waterlooville for 5 years, but then a great opportunity to go self employed came along, so I took the plunge and was the best thing I ever done.

I’ve been at Vola for just over a year now and I’m learning new things all the time and I keep up to date with new treatments coming in and challenging myself which I thrive from. I really enjoy waxing, brows and gel nails.

I’m so lucky in my job I get to make people feel great, that’s what I love about this industry.
